What is it?

Rejuran Healer, also known as the baby skin injection, or “婴儿针”, is a new concept of skin biorevitalization treatment developed in Korea that has become a very popular treatment primarily for its strong regenerative, restorative and repair properties, thereby helping many achieve healthy baby-smooth skin.

It is made up of polynucleotides (PN) carefully extracted from wild salmon DNA. As such, it demonstrates excellent capability at rejuvenating damaged skin, addresses multiple skin problems such as dryness, pigmentation, acne scarring and large pores.

The procedure involves multiple injections into the dermo-epidermal junction just below the surface of the skin.

What is the difference between Rejuran Healer vs. Beauty Boosters?

Rejuran Healer is made up of polynucleotides (PN) derived from salmon DNA whereas beauty boosters are made up of hyaluronic acid (HA) which is made up of sugar molecules. 

Rejuran Healer is primarily used for its regenerative, repair and anti-ageing benefits, whereas beauty boosters are primarily used for the purpose of achieving intensive skin hydration, brightening of skin tone and a dewy skin texture.

How long will the effect last?

Assuming the recommended protocol is being strictly adhered to, the effect can generally last for 1 year.

What is the treatment interval?

We recommend following strictly to the full protocol of 3 sessions in total, with each session done 1 month apart. This will ensure that you reap the maximal results of the treatment and its effect will effectively last throughout the rest of the year.

Thereafter, maintenance session can be done once every 6-9 monthly.

How soon will I see the effect?

The full effect of the treatment will be seen after 2 weeks. To achieve long-lasting results, we strongly encourage adhering to the recommended protocol.

What to expect during treatment?

The injection feels like multiple prickly ant-bites across the entire treatment area. We will apply a layer numbing cream 20 minutes before the procedure to ensure comfort throughout the procedure. The procedure itself takes about 20 minutes.

Multiple pin-point needle marks can often be seen at the end of treatment.

Is there any downtime?

Yes, there will be a short downtime for this procedure. Multiple small 3-4mm sized raised wheals, similar to small mosquito bites, will be formed over injection sites. These will resolve spontaneously after 1 day. 

Very rarely, bruising spot may be seen and they often last 3-5 days on average. You can easily conceal the bruising spots with concealer makeup the next day. 

How can I minimize the risk of bleeding or bruising?

Avoid consuming vitamin E supplement, omega-3 fish oil, NSAIDs painkillers or blood thinning medications for 3 days before the procedure, unless medically indicated by your doctor*.

Are the results permanent?

Rejuran Healer is being broken down naturally by our body over time and the effect of each treatment protocol usually lasts for 1 year. Reinjection is necessary to maintain optimal results.

What is the post-treatment care?

• Continue skincare as per usual routine
• Avoid vigorous massage of treatment areas
• Avoid vigorous exercise (running, swimming, heavy weights training) for at least 1 to 2 days
• Avoid taking alcohol on the day of treatment
• Apply cold packs to areas of bruising, if any
• Apply makeup only on the next day
